Get your hands on a small mixer like a 6 channel Mackie or something and submix your drums to 2 channels and then feed that to your 4 track. Otherwise what was said above....4 mics=4 mic pres.

Love the band name.....What kind of Tascam did you dump your mix to? I'd agree the digital one sounds much brighter and maybe not as glued together as the tape.
