The only two things I've ever used mine on has been guitar cabinets and snares... Now days only cabs, along with an 57; it's my minimal setup.

Weber Speakers is the key IMHO... Contact them and describe what you're looking for, like you did here, and they can help narrow the tons of options they have... Heck might even be fun to get two for options! If you find you're hardly using one, resell it!

Well ah be damned! Good to know! Still I don't know a single person who will be picking up a mic known more as a dedicated mic rather than a great overall workhorse; with that price tag... But what do I know? People have been shelling out for brand new U87Ais for years and I don't see that stopping ...

Heck, throw 20 mics on the kit, it doesn't matter. I have two words of advice: 1. You don't have to use them all. 2. Check phase; preferably in mono with monitor that can really reproduce lowend. Get all like mics in phase with each other. Got 3 kick mics? Get them in phase with ech other. Got 3 ste...

There are a gamut of logical reasons a company decides to stop manufacturing a particular product; even if it is a "hit". Here's my take: This is Neumann's chance to show whether or not they still have it. They've had quite a number of products that have a variant model number of some known vintage ...

Man... That sucks. Wish I was in the position to buy it all from you, just so that you could buy it back should you ever be in the position to buy them back.

Still, easy for me to say when I'm not, but someone who is should take these off his hands.

New Pop Filter

Been needing to pickup a new pop filter, my no-name-brands, single-layer fabric one that someone left at the studio is looking pretty shabby.

Anyone had experience with: http://www.windtech.tv/Pop_Gard.php

Or should I just pickup something like the Stedman?

I'm on PT. Over 10-years ago I got a Command 8, connected it, but never used it and eventually sold it. It always seemed I could put in the automation with a mouse much faster.

I still only use a mouse, but am curious if/what controllers people are using with PT and why.

I think you just need to move down to Sacramento and use my SSL! And yes I'm serious; or anyone else for that matter... No? Well, next best thing might be a summamajig. What DAW are you using? I know when I've mixed 100% in the box with my Pro Tools HD3 Accel system for the past 10-years, I can care...

Does that expansion chassis include the host card and cable too?

I already have a chassis, but don't have the card or cable to go with it, and I don't even know what I need to get the thing rockin'!

Thanks for the heads up! Yeah still looking for 192s. Ah man, just got rid of a 707 not too long ago... Oh well... Looking for anything else? $600 is certainly a fair deal, but I'm suppose see someone next weekend who may be looking to unload some for $400... A smokin deal! Still, it's not for sure ...
