I went to Guitar Center today and tested latency on a Mac iMac, 002R, PT6.7, 44.1 / 24. Just used a patch chord from #4 out to #7 in.... Latency was 92 Samples.... WTF? One of my friends used discfaktory for his bands CD, and it came back quieter than the master copy they sent in.

I use DollarCD, mainly because it's the cheapest place I've found.

I've lived where I am at now for 11 years, and tuition for the university I'm going to has more than doubled in that time. It raises in price every semester, it makes me sick.

If you know someone who is using Windows 98, 2000, or OS9, you can download pro tools free. It has tons of limitations, but you might be able to consolidate all those tracks on it, I'm not sure what PTfree can and can't do.

Pro Tools saves EVERYTHING you record. So everytime someone stopped and went "oops, let's redo that", it's on your hard drive. I saw "I, Robot" last might. I didn't watch it for a long time because I really dislike Will Smith, but I love the 'robot taking over the world' plot so much that I had to see it, and I liked it for the most part.
