wow, i could probably use this as a starting point. god knows i'm terrible at writing. i'd like to get better too...hmm. personally, i like lyrics a bit abstract. really straight forward lyrics, i dunno, something doesn't appeal to me. when they become a little "out there," for lack of a better term...

that's a good point...and lately i find myself reading up on some electronics and the inner workings of tube amps and learning schematics...so i think i'd like to be more involved than just being able to just press record...hmmm

i had thought about purchasing a small mackie, but personally, i'd rather buy something a step up that might last me a little bit longer. any particular models you might suggest?

considering i'm basically starting from scratch here, i'd rather not dump all my money on a board but still get something good...and god knows those ghosts cost a lot more than a 600...maybe i'll rummage through the archives some more
