Just wait til your close to 40 and all your close friends have family, kids, careers and your still going to punk rock shows and hanging out with people 15 years younger, and still living pay check to pay check, and those Monday night headlining shows are almost impossible.. Now that'll make you wo...

I guess I just look at the whole miasma and say, "there very well could be an asteroid with my name on it, hurtling through space billions of miles away, a tiny little piece of interplanetary flotsam that's aiming straight for me, nothing to be done..." I think that is a turd, and there is one head...

"Most sensible advice," certainly indeedy do.... best? Because-- there's the question- if anyone truly asks this kind of question-- what do you want to look back on, when you get to 65? See, that's the crux of my entire misadventure right there, the nut in the shell. Whenever the time comes that th...

I would measure the voltage with all your stuff plugged in. You may have a real long run to that outlet, undersized wire, or a bad connection. I would meter it at the breaker box, then at the outlet and see how much it dropped. IF you know everything that is on the circuit you can unplug everything,...

Go to school for something that guarantees good money, if you want some security and stability. Continue to persue your music, you will have time for both. Too many ppl are going to be shitting themselves when they hit 65 - 70 and they have nothing. Sucks I know you dont want to hear it, and I guess...

I'm not sure, it is for a balanced input. Someone emailed me this circuit and was about to try it out, but I never had a reply about his success. It would be worth a shot.

Sounds like the amps don't have a high enough input impedance to not load down the circuit. Prob true. Also, IIRC the meters in these have a pretty large shunt resistor inside, they work on a speaker level output with just a 5K in series. You may have to open up the meter and change it. (This wont ...

I don't think it was intentional, I think it was a design overlook/flaw that they just never corrected.

Just for the record, to dampen means to get something wet. Thanks, the grammar police... 1. to make damp; moisten: to dampen a sponge . 2. to dull or deaden ; depress: to dampen one's spirits . No! It can't be true! :x :x :x Check out http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dampen damp?en (dmpn) v. damp?e...

I used to use the 1010s, nice units. I know this is not your issue since the polarity is correct, but you should be aware of this: Delta 1010 Polarity issue Tuesday, 22 January 2008 23:02 I have just noticed that when I switch my input level from +4 to -10 that the signals phase is inverted. http://...

Ustream -Streaming Video

We have been working on it a bit, streaming our band practices mostly. We have other bands that want to drop by and do the same (One already posted) We have 4 cameras and a video mixer app and we use most of the same outboard gear we record with for the audio. Check out some of the archived vids if ...

I would introduce the phantom after the cans, just like any other preamp, especially if you need the full 48V. The best intro to this is here: http://www.tangible-technology.com/power/Phantom_Power_connect.html I have so many different preamps I gave up a on adding phantom to them all. I have a sepa...
