That's such an an open-ended question! WHAT color? Wooly? Dark? Sparkly? Beige? Brown? Yellow? That is the real question. Did you need someone to pick for you?

Wow. Thats a really nice thing to read on the intertubes. Shit man, I owe you guy's big time , you personally have helped me out a ton Joel and you don't even know it. I love my 501's, ( among many other "JH sleeper suggestions" ), also got a squawk box on the way and when it arrives I'll only have...

Scott Hamptone Is The Coolest Motherfucker On The Planet

Yeah, that's right, ya don't see the F-bomb in the title too often now do ya! What a stand-up guy. Seriously. After much research and input from everyone here, I finally mustered up the guts to call the man himself. I explained what my needs were and Scott helped me decide which of his amazing kits ...

I, for one, am incredibly thankful to have had this "place" in my life. I've learned so much on here over the course of many years and various names, the knowledge I've gained here outshines a degree in engineering anyday and has proven to be invaluable to me. I've laughed, I've cried, I've found a ...

LOOK FOR OLD ORGANS IN THE TRASH! Awesome. Yep, I'm gonna resurrect this old and dying thread to add these: The EICO 147a and the Heathkit Model T-2 signal tracers. I've been buying a lot of these old things lately with hopes of converting them into tube amps, they mostly sound pretty good before a...

USTF! Truly a subject that has been covered several times in previous threads. Man, that's why I'm posting here, after many weeks of sorting through all the myths and urban legends, I'd be great to hear some information that feels more solid and makes more sense. Numbers, tests, facts, figures, the...

It's a great, flexible cable that is easy to work with.
Thanks. This will be cabling for personal use, so flexibility and ease-of-use is of very little concern, optimal sound quality and detailed transparency are what I'm lusting after here.

I think an Alnico Blue-type speaker will be key to your sparkle-quest. I was planning on swapping out the speakers on all my old tube amps and signal tracers with Alnico, so that's really good to know, thanks! I think your 'sparkly' may be a little more extreme than mine, That assumption is probabl...

It was just to big, along with other things to take out on the road, so now I use a small Crate keyboard amp,,
Thanks a lot, are you suggesting the Fender as being a "sparkly" amplifier?
