Hey there,

Sent you a PM earlier. Let me know if you'd be interested in splitting up the RME gear and selling just the PCMIA card.

Thanks,

You can, and should, get more scientific if you want to end up with a system that performs the way you want it to. Sensitivity is part of the equation, but it is only part of it. You also need to know the volume of air in that cabinet and how that is going to affect the speakers you choose. A differ...

You probably know this already, but you can get a pcb for the Bo Hansen over at the prodigy-pro forum.

I just built one last week and it sounds great. I've got another on the bench waiting to be finished -- just missing the xlr connector.

The NYD reamp is the next on my list too...

Do one channel first. Get a variety of caps from different manufacturers. Put sockets in and swap back and forth. Test to see if you can hear a difference. I've got an old Tangent 802ax (don't laugh). I upgraded caps in the power supply and on one channel. I found it completely impossible to hear an...

You can also roll your own for a lot less if you are willing to do a little homework. As you can see from Owl's, it's not that complicated, but you want a transformer-based power supply, not a switching supply like you purchased. See this link: http://www.dxing.info/equipment/wall_warts_bryant.dx I ...

Hi folks, This is a little off topic, but I just thought I?d let you know about a positive experience I had with GotoGroupBuy.com . I?m not affiliated with or paid by these guys in any way. Two 1973 Fender / CTS 15" Alnico Speakers - $60 + ship

Hi there, I've got two 15 inch 1973 CTS speakers pulled from a Fender Bassman 50 Cabinet. The speakers are 8 ohm. I'm not sure of the wattage, but I would guess they must be approximately 25 watts power handling each (since in parallel the Bassman 50 is a 4 ohm, 50 watt cab...). I could be wrong. Bo...

The calibration procedure is in the service manual. This pcb is an exact replacement, so the calibration is the same.

The parts cost, if you are starting from scratch, is about $100. A new flash rom is about $24 of that, so if you don't need that you are ahead of the game.

Okay, last chance: $250 shipped.

This is the cost of the case, the pots, and the power supply.
