Oh ok cool. So they make bare end wires with the banana plugs on the other end? I have not found any yet, but maybe I just have not looked hard enough. I just got these speakers. Thanks for the help.

If you have hard floor (good), then you will definitely want absorption on the ceiling above it. For more on this, see the Hard Floor, Soft Ceiling section of Ethan's Acoustics FAQ. Wood sounds good when used correctly, it is mostly reflective. Wood floors generally don't sound too different from c...

This is more than likely a dumb question but I have some speakers that require the bare wires but my power amp is banana (I think). Either way my power amp is not for bare wires. How do I remedy this or make it work? thanks

It pretty much is, but its a hell of a lot more money. It is better than the fernandes though. Does a lot more than the fernandes as well.

So just carpet all the walls and the closet door? that does not sound like it would do much. What kind of carpet and how thick? with or without carpet pad?

Thanks

Wow, that makes me feel A LOT better. I was reading some article and some guy was going off about how wood was bad and it really did not make sense and this guy had a lot of odd ideas.I did not really take it seriously but I like playing my guitar in a room thats fully wood floors. It is real maple ...

Check into cascade mics. I did not know about them and after TO feedback on them. I just got them. The fat heads stereo pair (is what I got) and for the money I find them to be very very nice. I am very happy with them. Plus they look nice (which does not matter, but usually cheap mics look like poo...

What do you think would be a fair price for a setup like I described in the first post? I already made arrangements for this commission, but I'm thinking about making some more. Materials aren't too costly, but it's a lot of work. Making such small pickups requires using wire that's much thinner th...

I have thought of this before but I could not quite grasp how it would be done. I would think the strings would just be picked up by all the pups anyways. If it could be done, think about recording finger picking and spanish style guitar playing being panned. My ears tingle when I think about that s...
