If I'm not mistaken, most british stuff in the 60's/70's was mixed at least, to 1/4" at 15ips, with CCIR/IEC eq.

FS: Pair of racked and powered FILTEK MKIII EQs

I love em, but off they go. A pair of Filtek MKIII EQ, racked in a vintage city rack, with power supply, XLR in and out, as well as power switch.

I'm asking $750/obo. I'm in Woodstock, NY, 12401

I used to be addicted to that shit..... then I got real. I had spent SOOO much money on upgrading constantly, etc.... it just became a stupid, and futile way to never enjoy music! I recently sold ALL my home listening system, in an attempt to get back to reality. It has helped. I now have a small se...

FS: Tapco 4400 Spring Verb & Ebtech LL Shifter (8 channe

I'm selling off my Tapco 4400. It's a dual channel spring reverb, with EQ, and unbalanced 1/4" in/out. It works fine, but has some rack rash and typical faceplate wear. I'm asking $200 I also have an Ebtech Line Level Shifter, the 8 channel version. It looks brand new, as it was rarely used. I'm ask...

I have several pairs of different Lomo tube preamps, and they're great. Heavily coloured, but amazing. The EQs are incredible as well. I'm sort of a soviet era gear collector, so I have a bunch of these things. They get used every day, if that's an indication of their value. Mostly, that stuff is pa...

I still do it over the course of a mix a few times, BUT, I do think it's vastly overrated now. I think there is very little need, and I disagree about a mix becoming more confusing. I think you need to pan early on, in order to exploit and/or repair harmonic relationships between different things......

Dude, if you have that budget, do yourself a favor and look into buying used "high end audio" speakers. I'm a believer in the idea of amps and speakers being serparate, as I think dedicated power amps are better equipped to the task..... Either way, you have literally dozens of options in the used h...

Miles Bitches Brew - Sorry, I can't listen to this record without being annoyed at all the noodling going on. I can't feel any energy or cohesivness when I've tried to listen to this album. And believe me, I've tried cause eeryone said "its the birth of cool"...when I want to hear "progressive Jazz"...

Alternatively, one could argue that an electric guitar with overdrive, playing a bar chord is cliche..............
