This will be your main source of pickup for the recording. Use a matched pair of preamp channels, something ...

Everybody's having fun cheering you on, and I do understand the spirit of these ventures. I also understand how screwed you can feel when you've invested time and money and effort building something useful into a leased or rented building or space and then had the rent raised so far you can't afford...

Music is music. Musicians are musicians. Songs are songs. Why isn't the playing field level? Because some musicians and some songs are famous and some are not. It's that simple, and yes, the playing field is not level and never has been. For a start on why, maybe read The People's History of the Un...

Add the Speck ASC to your list. It's a fine semi-parametric. I like my pair a lot; I have the model with Jensens aboard.

sounds more like a headroom issue than transient response. The risetime doesn't change when you move the mic back but the amplitude at the mic does. Proximity effect... mud... Pull back and it helps reduce that effect and more clairity arises from the muck. True..but the proximity effect mud is an ...

There are many highly experienced and highly skilled audio engineers in Austin TX. Chet Himes? Stuart Sullivan? Eastside Flash? Fred Remmert? Steve Hudson? Bill Johnson? I could type names for days. If money is tight and time is short, call Flash. http://www.flashpointrecording.com/My_Homepage_Files...
