Reaper for Mac

Sorry if this is old news but I haven't seen a post on this here at TOMB

A preview build of Reaper for Mac is available.
It doesn't do much, yet, but he seems to be building this one almost as fast as the PC version

all depends on the amp. a lot of tube amps require massive volume to get a good crunch sound whereas others can get that overdriven sound a much lower volumes. are pedals being used? power reductions switches? master volume? cab size and configuration? studio environment? neighbors? lots o...

Thats really rad and creative..good work.. Wow, thanks! You know, I just figured something out: the crunchy tones created by the wire brushes are due not to metal on metal contact per se but by the uneven playing surface (unlike a real snare) -- the bristles are bending and then on release giving o...

cool sound! did you tune the banjo strings to the key of the song? [<|>] Hey, thanks for giving it a spin! Yeah, that was the first thing I did. I found a tuning on the banjo I wanted to use on the song then used it as a snare...as you might expect it came out of tune but just barely so...retuned t...

I tried to stay away from the actual strings, ju...

Just wait until Nuendo, Logic, etc. go to embedding advertising and product placements into the software to make up for lost revenue. :P Just as you're arming a track for a guitar solo you get a message like "wouldn't now be a great time for a cold, refreshing Coke?" Impossible? Personally, I...

Re: Guitarists -- if you're into the unusual...

Well, I listened to all the tracks for quite a while today. I think it's pretty damn good overall. A lot better than the vast majority of material I hear from people trying to do this kind of stuff. The guitar + sharpie is a sharpie under the strings at the 7th or 9th frets (can't recall) with a ran...

Re: Guitarists -- if you're into the unusual...

I was distributing albums from some friends but basically I've given up on that. .......I'm listening to your tracks now...on #3...tracks 2 and ...
