i've been seeking info on these consoles. I was offered (for a price unspecified) two of them, one 16 channel, one 24. I do a bunch of one off live gigs, and i'd like to believe, sonically -wise, that these would beat the pants of a mackie 16 channel 4 buss mixer... NOw if i could just remember whic...

Weird. The free download purchasers get a pdf, though, when i bought the download, there was no pdf included?
Am i missing something here? literally?

I did not do the sound design, though i am the engineer for the show CharlieVictorRomeo . For Walk-In, we use the 1/1 movement, on loop, from B. Eno's Music for Airports. Oddly enough, it does what it was designed to do... relaxes the human mind in the face of the unknown.... Its the perfect juxtopo...

Strangely enough, i plugged the 601 into my Ashley sc-50 tonite as a drumkit "heart" mic (Altec 633), and both comp'limiter and pre were pretty silent....sometimes i wonder:)

is still doing fine, though a bit noisier now. same with the 602.... any chance you stowed your schematic revisions from Doug somewhere safe? i'm considering having my tech take a look and i'm sure he'd appreciate a cocktail-knapkin map of some sorts:)

I gotta make sure i reread the OP before making a post of my own.... re: clocking ticks and such. ...but there really isn't the budget to afford that. I offer plenty of favors when it comes to time and budget, but where is the line drawn? :?: i would say FAVORS should not be part of this equation. T...

perhaps it was a clocking issue at tracking? if i don't make the AI3 my master clock at 48kHz, ticks and pops rear their ugly heads....

As a creative technique, i have used the "key" on a compressor and/or gate to "duck" for effect. On one hiphop record i worked on, i would key the drone in the track with a shaker track to accentuate "aural movement"... changing the drone into more of a pulse.... at the time i was listening to the l...
