They have a roll off switch but no pad which seemed odd to me until I saw the SPL rating (132-142 on those I've seen). Ahh thank you, that is the kind of info I'm looking for...firsthand opinions of the mics and their uses. I was surprised that the LDCs had such a high SPL rating which, before I saw said SPL rating, I thought was curious that none of them had -10 or -20 dB pads installed.

No I'm not really interested in buying any of them I just wanted to know more about them as I'd never even heard of them. They do look nice and he uses them to mic live strings at his church. Thanks for the info however.
