The early version original NS-10's were made to be placed vertical. Then Yammy came out with the NS-10M and these were marketed to be placed sideways.

I have the NS-10M's and the Y is pointing downwards when in the horizontal position.

My friend and I have a running "noise pollution" joke going where once every other month, we'll call each other and just play the chorus from Steve Miller's " Abra cadabra" it gets stuck in your head and you can't get it out no matter how hard you try... I just picked up a old Tandberg 64 for 10 bucks and my wife gave me major grief about adding more junk. (granted I just wanted it for the valve pre's)

I know I would be headed for divorce court if I grabbed this thing.

I wonder if the speakers are "tuned" to produce a better sound due to using their converters / systems.
