a small multitrack recorder that isn't cassette
I love the Stellavox SP9. And other such tape recorders like this.

Super small. Which means fun to use and easy to work with. Is there a way to make them multitrack or are there 8 track recorders out there that sound great but are tiny? Thanks

hi
I'm looking for info on lou's guitar work on the VU albums. Like how they got that long sustained guitar sound on the rock and roll solo. Also, just general info on how they did things.
Are there any good VU fan sites for tech heads? Thanks

tube mixers
What are some really good ones? Old and new. Seems there are some duds out there. Maybe it would be a better idea to buy a cheap line mixer and just buy some good pres like a Tab 78, etc..

emt 240 gold foil vs akg bx20
Seems to me these two reverbs might have a similar sound. Anyone heard both? What are the differences? Which would you consider better?. Oh, and the akg bx10's are going for over 2k on evilbay now. Thats crazy
