O.K. guys, the audio is up on my website: www.zerrohouseproductions.com. Go to the "Funny Stuff" page (not to be confused with the band page, which you might find funny, but we didn't plan it that way...). Awesome! Forgot about the Paul Anka one... There's a good one of William Shatner floating aro...

Re: The Troggs Tapes
Hey Guys, Does anyone know where I can score an MP3 of this? I read about it in the Al Kooper interview and can't seem to find it anywhere online. All of the links I have found are currently broken. Thanks! This one is the motherlode: http://bedazzled.blogs.com/bedazzled/the_al_kooper_tapes/ Have f...

I know they're more than $100, but I've been using the Audio Technica ATH-M50's a TON for tracking lately and absolutely love them. Their isolation is excellent, and the sound quality is on par with a good set of monitor speakers. Actually, the m50s seem to be readily available on that major auctio...

Yeah, the Vic Firth ones isolate really well, but are the worst sounding phones I've ever heard in my life. They'll instantly make any signal sound like it's miked in a cardboard box!!! I know they're more than $100, but I've been using the Audio Technica ATH-M50's a TON for tracking lately and abso...

I love Tama... I've played their stuff for over 20 years and have never had anything to complain about. Never a single broken anything... and their artist relations people are second to none!!! I love the drop-jawed look people get when they hear my Starclassic kit, either live or in the studio. Tha...

Also, in regards to the saffire, since it only has 1/4" inputs, is it cool to run XLR to 1/4"s? I've been under the impression that that isn't the best idea, though I don't know where I got that impression (probably from a faulty xlr-1/4" cord :P). Or would that be something that you'd be running t...

Re: Talking eDrums
My main questions at this point: Will the 120 be a good snare? Sure... it'll work great! Should I go with more of the same for the toms? Sure... might be overkill, but what the heck... What's a good reasonably priced pad stand? Heck, for a PD120, you can use a piccolo snare stand in a pinch! Tama d...

this reminds me of antares avox. ha ha ha ha actually, it's probably better than antares avox at getting ok results. It's really a totally different thing than avox... IMHO, Melodyne's audio quality blows the antares stuff out of the water. Melodyne's pitch correction tools sound way more natural t...

Had to pause that first vid to comment. It DOES seem to be able to separate parts! It does to a certain extent, but the outcome is totally dependent on how complex the source material is. The more elements you add to a mix, the less separation you actually have. Here's a copy of my post on the othe...

That's it. Wow, almost a year later and still in development. I know next to nothing about these matters, but the demo sure looked like it was a lot closer than that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iG3By0OR0E&feature=related It's actually in beta form now. I've been running it for about a month, a...
