just thought i would hip cats to Mira.... http://twistedmelon.com/ it's a really cool app that allows you to control any application with your apple remote. i've been using it with Reason, Garageband, Protools, etic.... simple alternative to the Frontier wireless transport.

i guess it depends on exactly what you are sending to the tape machine. if it's a final mix then that could be cool. but it seems like you are talking about seperately sending drums out, guitars out, bass etc... to the 2 track then back in to you DAW. if that's the case, you're in for some really lo...

hey dynomike, well i mic'd the drums with two audix csx-1's for the overheads, a sm57 on the snare, and an audix D6 on the kick. i also had a CAD E100 in the room. not my dream mics but they worked really well and it i had really good pre's and it all went to tape so..... i'm planning on getting som...
