i dunno, but things about that guitar don't really add up. very few strats had matching headstocks. the body is not a typical fender wood. the decals look iffy, the neck pocket is...well, rough. the pickups have plastic insulation not really period correct for late 60's strat. pics didn't show if it...

yeah, i crank my output going to the reverb from my converter and still have to drive it with a preamp to get the level back in at a good level. so ultra hot levels are a must when doing this.

i recorded some thunder and rain once by opening my then bedroom studio. i just put up my mk319 with the foam windscreen that came with my mxl v69 and it just killed. i did it more to protect the capsule from water, but it did reduce the wind noise and howl that i was hearing in the room.

Awesome comments so far! I think I'll go ahead and get it :) I do have another question though. I have a few combo amps, but not a dedicated cabinet. I'd like to purchase one in the near future, but I am interested in running the head direct into my interface, and then use different impulse cabinet...

cool amp, good price. drive the piss out of it. it loves a nice fat distortion pedal like a rat, blues driver, or ds-1 pushing it, too.

my singer has the create and he loves it. i have the original voicelive and it is chock full of shit, but man it is not intuitive for guitar players. have not tried the correct, looks cool from the vids on YT. i second the fact that all the digitech stuff is crap. noisy, tone sucking boxes that soun...

just did a test with my reverb again. i did have to crank the shit out of my preamp to get good signal out of the accutronics ran straight. i did however have some radio design labs preamps for a shelved PZM project and this worked out great. i ran it on the output of the tank, but i am wondering wh...

I'm surprised that works like that. The dpring reverb is essentially a microhone used as as speaker driver hooked up to one end, with a microhone like device at the other. I would assume you would need to drive it with a pretty robust signal and amplify it with a mic pre. I guess I assumed wrong? O...

if i get a wild hair was going to build a blend circuit with a little cheap preamp circuit i had laying around to blend it. how complicated does this circuit need to be? in my extreme ignorance about electronics, i was hoping it was as simple as adding a 500k pot with the input of each tank hooked ...

what are youguys driving/receivingyour accutronics with? They arent exactlly line level, and I am sure they aare an odd impedance as well. I am interestedin going this route as accutronics are super cheap and after all are the springs in most spring reverbs. funny you ask...i just ran it straight i...
