Topic: Suggest some hypercard's for drums

ok, I feel not only old, but rather geekish as well, as when you say hypercard, I think of this really lame app that came with the orginal mac, like in 1982

And I'm thinkin "what the hell does hypercard have to do with drums?"

And as to cost, I'd expect somewhere around $250 (us), but get in touch with beyer for an exact price =)

the original ribbon in this microphone would be hard to fashion, other than by beyer. The ribbon is corrugated lengthwise in the center, with a couple of "pistons" on each end. If you send it to beyer, they will swap in a whole new motor assembly ( magnet structure, ribbon, output transformer too). ...

And, yeah, I really want to work at Quad but asking for money would be odd. This strikes me as weird. You went to school, I'm assuming you've made some recordings somewhere. At what point do you feel you'll be qualified to make minimum wage doing this? Until you can answer that, it's not much of a ...

the articles in tapeop were what touched off minor bombs in my head, got me goin in the custom audio direction, which led to the formation of my own company.

Granted there were other things in my past that contributed, but tapeop certainly helped.

hows that for value added? :D

most of the beyers I've worked on use a pin to hold things together. So at the base, use a small pin, and push that pin in. This should allow the bottom portion to come out. That's going to allow you to get at the xlr connector and transformer, but not at the capsule. Just make sure you keep track o...

"fuck, there's never any parking around here"

my first band had it's promo shots taken at the troll, which should be a cliche for a Seattle band.

Sun shines plenty here for me.

Kinda a one trick pony ( granted it's a cool trick! )

If that's the sound you can dig and live with, they're cool.

Owned a 4003 for some years. It came to a boxing smoker between that and a '78 pbass. Rick lost. Sorry Rick. No hard feelings
