Re: ts 2 trs wiring questions.
With it only connected at one end, it has only 1 path to ground. I almost understand it now. Except, shouldn't ground go to ground and not into cold/- like on the TRS? Or can ground be transfered through hot/+ and cold/- paths too? One more question: 5. Does the TS sleeve carry both cold/- and grou...

Re: ts 2 trs wiring questions.
Oh, on a site I found it said that the sleeve on the TS cable carries BOTH cold/- and earth. Now I know why the cold/- from the TS should be connected to the cold on the TRS. But I still don't get why the ground are not connected to each others at all times. And if + is transfered from + to + and - ...

Re: ts 2 trs wiring questions.
Thanks alot bombastique for your help. I have one question left for you. Without the - input needed for noise rejection, you'll possibly get more RF or hum because noise isn't being rejected. But doesn't that increase the noise becuase what is coming into - is not phase reversed and does not cancel ...

ts 2 trs wiring questions.
Hi guys! I am not good at electronics so bare with me. When I check out this ( http://www.vandenhul.com/artpap/wiring19.htm ) site about connecting unbalanced TS to balanced TRS, it said it might create RF and hum in non-transformer equipment. 1. How come it might do this in non-transformer equipmen...

Re: Balanced XLR to Unbalanced 1/4"
"With the Behringerism of the world now, you are On Yer Own if the equipment maker doesn't include that info."
The manuals for my Behringer Mic 2200 and T1953 has information about connecting unbalanced cables to the equipment.

Re: So much new gear! Two new tracks, my best yet.
I really liked your songs. And you should be glad about that becuase I normally do not listen to this type of music. By the way, which genre is this? I want more of this kind of music. The feeling and sound of the soft song reminded me of soft Foo Fighters' songs.
Good job!

Re: THE BEST MASTERING STUDIO EVAH!!!
Qoute from his site:
"CHECK & FIX THE HIGHS & THE ENTIRE CD IS EQ?D TO **RED BOOK INDUSTRY STANDARDS, SO YOUR MIX WILL SOUND GREAT IN EVERY ENVIOREMENT, AND BE RADIO READY 100%."
Ok, I am an amateur, but does it really exist a red book standard for the level of the high frequency? Hehe

Ultragain mic2200 vs Ultragain T1953 (sound clarity/quality)
Hi everyone. My first post here. I have a question about the Behringer pre-amps Ultragain mic2200 (~$129) and Ultragain T1953 (~$239). Does anyone of you have any experience with one or both of these units and can tell me if there is big differences in audio clarity/quality between these two? Out of...
