Re: Itunes music service

Re: Best Sci Fi Movies 1990-Today

Third act: ignore all your questions because the world is buried beneath 2000 years of ice and it doesn't matter anyway. It's like Spielberg sets up the smarter viewer to have all of these ideas and ponder all of these deep thoughts, and then says, "You're missing the point, Poindexter." Brilliant....

Re: Stupid question - Can guitar pedal take Line Inputs?

line level signals sometimes behave a little differently in the circuit. but it wont kill anything... so try it out. sometimes you will get some small noise and hum issues... nothing catastrophic. i will tell you in advance that once you start buying guitar pedals for your keyboard it is hard to sto...

Re: You weren't kidding!

what bugs me about the audiophiles i know is that they appear to care about music, can talk a lot about a passion for sound, but it all rings hollow. here is a quote from good old veblen's theory of the leisure class that i think explains the motivation of the audiophile: This growth of punctilious ...

Re: You weren't kidding!

what it comes down to is not the ideas themselves, but how they are applied. in cambodia socialism and communism were a total disaster. here in the US they gave us: the weekend, overtime pay, social security, building codes, urban planning, workers comp, libraries, museums, consumer protection laws,...
