Dictionary.com actually has the distinct feature of gathering results from several different sources, the main one being the American Heritage Dictionary, but it is not limited to that. So sure, it has M-W beat on that. But who needs that crap when you have all that ...

Re: Sorry wing, but m-w sucks

I've been trying it all day, and the number of words in their thesaurus is pitiful. pitiful! Re: Yay. Close the libraries!!!

What was the interview with that author (on daily show I think) that knew Bush personally, and when asked about Bush's favorite things to read, the guy said "Oh George, he's not much of a reader at all."

Re: Yay. Close the libraries!!!

It is a dream of mine that if someday I have lots of extra money and I am a philanthropist of sorts, I will open up the world's most ultimate library-- it would have not only books, but tons records too.

I'm serious... if I had the money, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Houston's Rice University is about $35,000/year. It shocks me every time I think about it.

Beautiful poem by someone in my creative writing club

I'm in a Creative Writing club at my school, and unfortunately am stuck on the email list for everyone to email their poems and stories. For some odd reason I torture myself by reading most of them. Check out this classic: Angry words fill my head, too much it can't be said. Sorrow fills my heart, t...
