Because Nothing sounds better than a well cared-for analog recorder, and nothing sounds worse than one that is isn't! anybody out there have one of these? if so, what kind of recording set up do you use it for? (ie - to digital, to analog -both?)

i'd love to hear pros/cons...

EDIT: versus my mackie 1604 vlz - i'd like something with better pres and can get the tascam cheap (and like new)
