TASCAM M312B Console - thoughts? experience?

anybody out there have one of these? if so, what kind of recording set up do you use it for? (ie - to digital, to analog -both?)

i'd love to hear pros/cons...

EDIT: versus my mackie 1604 vlz - i'd like something with better pres and can get the tascam cheap (and like new)
