Topic: Post Or Help With Track Sheet??

I made mine up as an Excel spreadsheet & made the individual track boxes big enough to jot notes about mics or whatever in there if needbe. I've got slots at the top to notate formats, speeds, take number...the studios contact info & logo etc. One sheet per song is good...I really don't dig those "2...

Dynaudio BM15's w/ Hafler Transnova for juice cover the hi-fi. The car's kinda hi-fi too...2005 Mazda 6s with a Bose system... Lo-fi would be a pair of Rat Shack Minimus 7's stacked on top of each other and placed about 6-7 feet from mix position so it hits me as mono. Got a Samson Servo 240 powerin...

Brad Blackwood & crew at Euphonic still do "analog" mastering...or about as analog as it gets these days anyway.

Great stuff. Never had a bad swing with that guy.

Dig it. Thanks for the info Goober. (man, I've ALWAYS wanted to call someone that! LOL I have "Fruitcake" t-shirt too!) So here's one for you! I had a drive that was down & out for a bit so I ended up (ahem!) borrowing me mum's 250gig USB drive in the meantime. I think it's an Accudata or something?...

If it's a single speaker rotating baffle then even a single mic will pick up the doppler effect. Though...I'd imagine that where it's placed might well vary it a bit...

I knew an engineer who always did punches in Destructive Record mode in Pro Tools, his main motivation being that it didn't leave him with tons of oddly named regions in his audio files folder and was simpler to move all the files around becuase it just records the audio over the old material in th...

Here's a pic of the Leslie rig from the swamp sessions out at Red Rock Recording in PA 'bout a week ago. www.swampadelica.com www.redrockrecording.com We were after a 70's vibe & tone so I stuck 421's on the top, turned two clicks back from "M" to filter out low end with a '70s U87 on the bottom baf...

What kinda rotating speaker is it really? Is it like a Leslie? Where's it's got a top rotor that spins around on an axis and maybe a lower drum with bagffles that spins around? Or...is it like an old guitar combo where the speaker stays in one place but the speaker baffle rotates around? 'Ya got a p...

Never mind, WinXP won't let you format anything bigger than 32GB as FAT32. You'll need a 3rd party partition manager (Partition Magic, for example), or maybe a Win98/ME boot disk to format it as FAT32. You learn something new every day. Huh! Damn. So maybe I should try something like a Maxtor insta...

Thanks for the advice so far... I was mucking around in disk management and figured out how to format the drive so NOW Windows can see it! :D :D :D But! (...man do I ever hate buts...) Apparently the only format option is NTFS...FAT32 isn't on the dropdown menu. So now I'm wondering how to format th...
