I played around with using my Effectron to make loops.

i got started recording on a 4 track, drum machine, dynamic mic and DAT deck that i borrowed for about 3 years. of course... now i have tons of old 4 track tapes i cant play since i never bought one! guess i'll have to borrow another one.

the behringer rack unit is just fine for headphones. nothing fancy.

try it with just the overheads, since they would get the most bleed anyways... if need be, you could even just do one overhead.

you could try dropping some subtle reverb on it to drop it back in the mix... either with a processor, or maybe reamp it into the room where you recorded the drums, so it sounds like it was in the same room, only further to the back.

as for any copyright bs - I'm not ever going to be rich and or famous, so this isn't about collecting royalties
