best online store for bulk cable parts?

I am building a series of snakes to wire up some more patchbay and my new mixe(!) and i was wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to order parts. I will probably need around 60 XLR ends, around 100 TS ends, plus bulk cable of course. They don't need to be the most luxurious of connections eit...

Dense mixes can seem smaller because all the space is used up i agree. one thing ive always noticed is that vast wideness and space is usually a phenomenon of "sparse" music...that is, music with nice arrangements where each instrumentalist has no problem taking a few bars of rest now and then. i a...

My professor hadn't even heard of Glynn Johns
didn't even read any further...skipped strait down to posting a reply because your professor should go shoot himself in his own face, followed immediately by you demanding your money back. fucking christ.

im sure he has his doctorate of drumagog, too.

If you had that chair in your studio I couldn't resist kicking you in the balls. Seriously!!! Why not just hire some really strong guy to hold you up like a baby all day? You'd look about 20x cooler than you would sitting on that! But seriously...just save up a couple hundred bucks. Roll into offic...

HIJACK WARNING: one piece of young-guy wisdom and one question for those who know: 1) I don't know if this is the 'treble bleed' mod, as I did this mod years ago, but I replaced the tone capacitor on my 2000 Gibson LP DC Standard in order to lessen the amount of top end that the tone pot rolled off....

Sad thing is that my chair was more expensive than half my gear. Possibly the best investment I ever made. Made my recordings sound really warm and punchy with a tight bottom and sparkling highs. I sit in this thing A LOT and I can't believe you've been able to sit on any kind of stool for as long a...

2) a digital plugin that lets you do morphing instead of crossfades...that is, one sound, say a voice, actually transforms into another, say a french horn, instead of one fading into the other. I swear that years ago there was some guy interviewed IN TAPE OP that made this exact thing. Can't go thr...

I always thought that "british EQ" meant the layout style...3 or 4 band parametric with sweepable mid frequencies rather than all set frequencies (like on a guitar amp). Most boards nowadays have british style EQ but I'm guessing that back in the day this was an innovation. I could definitely be wro...

Little Labs IBP--Sound quality as a DI

Thinking I'm ready to invest in something in the $550.00 pric range to "solve all my direct bass problems" so to speak. Leaning towards an Avalon U5 but, considering all the millions of uses for a Little Labs IBP, if the DI is remarkable at all then I think I may just pick one of those up instead. O...

MC012s are the best thing I've ever had the pleasure of using on toms and mine aren't even upgraded yet. A+++ I did a huge mic comparison recently and they won out by far. Maybe this hasn't been posted yet. Good to know: http://home.tula.net/oktava/fake/ http://www.oktavamodshop.com/product_info.php...
