FS: THD Univalve Tube Guitar Head

I have a THD Univalve in great condition. It includes a handful of power/preamp tubes for tone combinations (including a Tung-Sol 5881) and a padded carry case. This tube head is a 15 watt amp with built in hot-plate. It sounds great and offers a wonderful learning situation for how tubes sound. Gre...

I have a pair of Layla 20's that are rock solid and they still sound good to me. Mine will get warm but not hot. I have then racked next to each other and they still rock my world.

Sad to say,

I think that this has something to do with why Mr. Eargle was unable to attend.

I actually did not end up making it myself. I am in Winona and got hung up with some other things at work. X-man you will have to post your thoughts on how it went.

Meriphew - thanks for the tip. I think that would be a better direction for me to go. I sent him a note wondering if he might be putting together DIY kits because he is not currently able to produce them himself. We will see if he replies.

adding a "true bypass" to my guitar pedal?

Just wondering what I need to know in order to do this? I have a couple pedals that change the tone from just being inline and not active. I see some places offer this feature (at a cost). Anyone have any tips or insight for me? Is it basically the same process on all pedals or does it depend on the...

My amp is having a power supply problem now so I tested the tubes. One 7591 measures 95 on my B&K tester and the other measur...
