We don't have much i...

for my death-metal/grind/sludge stuff i keep it real simple: Gibson SG (faded) --> Boss NS-2 noise red. --> Boss TU-2 tuner --> Marshall DSL100 --> SM57 + e609 --> pre (varies based on location) --> PT for the mellower, instrumental, doom, jazz, rock, etc. stuff: early 80's Gibson SG 61' re-issue, o...

"you can now make many common changes on the fly. Go ahead. Add or remove tracks; add, remove, or copy inserts and sends; change a track?s I/O routing; re-order tracks; and make other changes without having to manually stop playback."

Yeah...I think that's basically what it amounts to. Truth be told....I try it both ways whether using xlr or 1/4". Scott's preamps really react well whether you're hitting them hard or going for safe so I try to see which way the sounds hits me the best....DAMN the rules! As far as saturatio...

Hamptone (tube) pad question....

just got my Hamptone HVTP2 in the mail (hooray!!!) and i'm going to try it out tonight... i just wanted to check on something, with those of you who own one.... since the pad switch says "mic/line" on it, i'm assuming that that means when the 1/4" jack is in use, it acts as a mic/line switch, but wh...
