I moved m studio to a place where supposedly I can get mor...

... if they ever give you trouble call the insurance commissioner for your area, they will straighten right up. You don't live in Illinois. But yeah, the homeowners policies tend to be problematic as no one seems to know what is covered for how much and why, often intentionally. I'm sure such...

I am glad for you that you have had good results with your carrier, however, that has not been my repeated and extensive experience with those types of claims and ins. policies (not necessarily involving musical equipment.) Further, while an amendment may be accepted, I have also seen same defended...

Just keep searching for an internship. Think about what city you're in. What's happening THERE? Why did you get passed up? Can you work on that? I've been doing this for 35 years and I'm still nervous about tomorrow etc. However, nothing beats a good action plan and innovative creative thinking. Kno...

From what I'm hearing, the caps on the output amp are likely, but, tape isn't supposed to shed that much, your tape needs baking or replacing before you use it. Don't use tape that sheds. The card for your repro head sounds like it's dead too, so it needs a lot of repair. Maybe nothing major. Recapp...

Another note: document everything you insure with receipts, notes, photos, dates, etc. ... Be aware of "replacement cost" vs. "actual cash value", "market value", etc. (See here .) It is a good idea to have some basis to do your cost, but, mainly what you need is a complete inventory sheet. I insur...
