Drum machines!?
So I'm using a Yamaha DD-9 for shows right now and frankly as much as it is close to a toy, the thing drops some pretty cool simple beats. I like its borderline cheap sound. Anyway, can anyone recommend another drum machine that offers a better beats, more flexibility, and programming? I am mostly i...

Re: Cello Pick-Ups?
No, thank you. Thats been very helpful. I think I need to stay away from drilling or replacing the bridge. She doesn't seem to be very happy with that idea.

Cello Pick-Ups?
Hey everyone, hope you all are doing well. So, my band has just recently had a cellist join and we need to purchase a cello pick-up for live shows. Our past experience with a Fishman pick-up was terrible due to extensive feedback, low signal-to-noise ratio, and horrible tone (made the cello sound aw...

Ok, so we don't usually advertise like this but, I like tape Op and like the people. I know that you all won't interpret this as a shallow self promotion but more as me sharing. The mp3's we have posted are almost two years old and done in one night on a not-so-good DAW in our basement but, we are s...

Tascam MSR-16 HUB?
I don't have the manual for the MSR-16 and need to change a broken HUB. I have the replacement, but can't seem to get the old one off. Anyone know how to do that? There don't seem to be any screws except one in the middle, but that didn't release the HUB.

Replacement HUB for a Tascam MSR-16?
Hi all, I need a replacement HUB for my MSR-16 1/2" Ree-to-reel machine. Its that part that holds the tape to the machine and when you turn it it tightens down. I've seen it call a "NAB HUB" and just a "HUB" wither way I need one. Please email me at ceeelow@hotmail.com
thanks!
