And apparently the guy doesn't want to sell any because I inquired when this thread was posted and haven't gotten a response..

I find the system decent for the money, certainly better than a cue box IMHO. Not flashy but good enough. I picked mine up basically new off Craigslist with 3 boxes (2 still new in box) with cabling and the cat 5 splitter for something stupid cheap like $150. Totally worth it. I imagine if one were ...

Man I've done a few "contest" remixes and it never seems worth it, inevitably some dee jay doing some bland lounge remix with the most friends wins... Good for practice but I've never gotten exposure for it to at least justify the time for otherwise good paying work... good point! The art of the re...

Way to stimulate the economy, guys/girls. what, would you rather max out your credit cards and file for bankruptcy/foreclose because you can't charge enough to pay for it in this economy? Sure everyone makes their own financial decisions but buying used usually works to keep you spending only the a...

Have you considered Great River? Never used the vintech or bae but the Great River pres are very nice on every source I've used them for.. and they don't have the tub of some Neves... You can get with EQ or without, or in 500 series format.

Thanks for sharing that...hadn't heard of it until now. Very ugly and worthless website though...not a lot of info? Is this version just a sample player or is it synthesizing the sounds? It seems to me like a cheaper deal would just be to use a sampler loaded with 'tron sounds, and be more flexible ...

Hmm was wondering when Digi would support Win 7...not that I'm EVER in a hurry to upgrade my OS but I know next time I build a computer I'll either cave in and get Win 7 or buy a Mac.

What do you think the chances are that the OP is the bassist in the band? haha I'd guess about 100% good observation In that case the track count should be : 1.- Bass cab front mic. 2.- Bass cab back mic, out of phase. 3.- Bass DI from amp head. 4.- Bass DI from a Radial DI box. just in case the am...

Just about anything if you are willing to wait and it isn't extraordinarily specialized.

It seems silly for people to buy new cheapish tube guitar amps for the same price as a used Fender/etc decent tube amp.

I feel like the drummer's say is being undermined here...I mean not to beat a dead horse but when I'm restricted to 8 tracks I don't need two separate bass tracks or a dedicated ear candy track (bounce your candy to other tracks) if it is the difference between someone else being compromised. I mean...

I am unclear as to if you already recorded these tracks...? Having soft clipping can help prevent digital overs going in...such as those found on Apogee converters...I believe Prism sound makes some builtin to a trs plug?

If you already recorded you can try using T-Racks Soft Clipper..
