I don't think the D6 has any versatility at all. That thing has the most aggressive smile curve I've ever seen on a mic. Mega hyped lows, highs and almost no mids. It speaks one language: metal. I haven't found that to be the case, at all. In fact, I have had a D6 in front of, behind, inside, next ...
