Looks good. You don't really need to do anything except for noise leaking outside, depending on who it might bother. Any unwanted reflections can be fixed with blanket or curtain.

I do Ringo style, but sometimes put a mic next to my head to pick up whole kit including bass drum.

Was thinking about getting a cymbal stand mounting sleeve, but will make one .. its on the list of to-do things today.

Heavy eq and compression. And also ..what lots of us do is use several sources layered to make one snare, one kick etc.
