Unfortunatly, with German mics there is rarly a happy ending. Let us know, but In my expearense repair wil cost as much as a new mic; unless you got the mic on sale...Then repair will cost MORE.

I am, by no means a ?Tape the drums" kinda guy (that's tape as in adhesive, not magnetic). But, this is one of the only times I would suggest that. About a 1? X 2? piece of duct tape - just on the snares. Some would say that is sacrilege, but it has definitely saved the day for me a few times. Steve

Yes I have done Decca tree type set ups with a stereo mic in the mid. At that poind it's kind of like a center stereo mic with spaced suport mic.
