the weakness of the spirit M line is no buss's.. and phantom power either on or off for the whole board.
but nice EQs.. direct outs on all the channels. and four aux sends (2 pre, 2 post).. gives you lots of routing options.

i agree that UAD stuff is the way to go. but it does take more work. and if your gonna do it quick.. for free. just for like CDrs or myspace.. i think PSP vintage warmer is a quick fix.
it's all academic though. do what needs to be done in relation to time and cost.

thats a nice looking mic atleast. i bet people would be into singing into it just by looking at it. that could almost be as important as how it sounds. placebo eefffect in the building. only if i hadn't just bought a whole bunch of new stuff!!
