i have a couple different compact fluorescents in my "studio". never noticed them. it's been a none issue. i normally only have 1 light on though.. and they are all low watt (though watts dont technically apply, or something) maybe your crazy and actually just seceretly want to waste as much energy ...

i have seen some tape decks that stand up. (reels are vertical)
some that lay on their backs. (reels horizontal .though normaly like.. a about 5 degree angle)
does it make a difference? and if so.. what?
or, is it machine specific?

a dual mono opto compressor with transformers. or a half rack mono opto with transformer.. that can be linked. so you could have 1 or 2.. depending on your budget or need. also. a pre compressor knob, with a filter.
