Attachment limit issue?

This seems to be going around. I tried to post a picture & got this message: Error Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached So I deleted 2 or 3 pics I'd posted & tried again. Same message. Days later (today), I tried again. Same message. And at least one other forum member has encountered ...

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....

"ERROR Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." so I'll try a pic later. I had the same issue. I deleted a couple of pics & could not post anything new (still cannot post anything new.) I think it's a board issue. EDIT: I posted a message to the TOMB subforum because it might get notice...

GLWTS
Thanks. I'm almost certainly relocating my bedio this summer (greedy landlord), so I'm trying to get started selling stuff I don't use so that I can avoid moving it. More crap is likely to come.

Just curious. What are you ADAT I/O converters here?
I'm using a Lucid 88192, and then that goes into the Focusrite 18i8 that I picked up. That setup is doing a good enough job for me right now.

Micromoog!
Micromoog was my first analog synth, & I still have it all these years later. It has some great modulation options, & despite its seeming simplicity is actually a rather versatile synth.

Misc. Crap

Yamaha MLA-7 8 channel 1U rack mount mic pre. One channel is dead, so currently a 7 channel preamp. $60 plus shipping. dbx 290 Reverb. Good cosmetic & working condition. $100 plus shipping. Sound Master SR-88 battery powered rhythm machine. Cheesy and battery powered. Interesting in that you can act...

Re: Old midi/keyboard gear needs to go in Portland, OR (DR-5, Proteus, D110)

So is it a Proteus 4, or is that a typo? I can't find any info on a Proteus 4, and being a fan of E-mu gear, I'm curious.

Re: rotating speaker alternative

I seem to recall a radio special about Yes (from the bygone days when radio specials about bands were kind of a thing) where they said that one of the band members spun a corded mic around over his head during recording in an attempt to get some sort of Leslie-ish sound. I don't know how it worked o...

Re: I bought a CD!

I bought a Speedy Ortiz CD when I went to see them recently, and I just bought three CDs from the Suicide Squeeze label (Death Valley Girls, Julia Shapiro, Holy Wave) because they were on sale & cheaper than digital downloads. Lately more of my music buying has been through bandcamp. If there's some...

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....

Picked up a Focusrite 18i8, as recommended by CraigS63. It seems to be just what I was looking for, and at a reasonable price. Put a Fralin humbucker-sized P90 in the neck pickup position of that ugly Les Paul copy I posted a while back. Finally got a suitable set of strings for that short scale yel...

Re: Cheap USB interface with ADAT?

Dangit, I always forget about Sweetwater's used gear site. I ended up finding an 18i8 for $125 shipped, so pretty much in the same ballpark. Hopefully it'll work out well.
