I am in an indie band. We have no need for a major. And they certainly have no need for us. But we tour nationally. We make our own records. And I can hear kids singing the words over the music from the stage. My music business is going pretty sweet.

I would think that you would get a different signal going back IN the DAW because it is being sampled again, and being converted from digital, to analog, and back to digital. Mastering is something everyone claims to do, but don't really know how. I tell people to get thier stuff mastered by a mastering studio after tracking with me. They rarely listen.
