Sounds/Mix critique

this was my second "serious" band recording project - though plenty of solo recording done ahead of time. I'd appreciate critique/suggestions on mixing, primarily, as it was a little overwhelming and definitely where I feel least comfortable at this point. Pointers on general sound would be cool too...

This sounds cool. I think I'm around then... tuesday is easy. Either of previously mentioned venues sounds good to me.

Really nice... song, performance, technical geek stuff... all very solid. I'm going to remember to have another listen to this on my good speakers. +1 on the above... like a Low/Karate blend.

I like drummer perspective - stage backline position is my usual starting point for a mix, centered at the drummer. With my band I pan the snare a very little left in the mix, to make it even more drummer-centric. He's far and away the most musically talented in the group and a demon on the floor to...

Well, maybe some other year... Montreal was a very cool suggestion. Great music coming out of there and a neat city.

I'm really liking my 121. It paired with a 57 on a cabinet gives you a lot to work with - recently did a song where a guitar part was double tracked, once Rickenbacker - slightly OD'd Fender Champ with a Baby Bottle and the other a Hiwatt type amp with the 57/121 combo. For most of the track I'm onl...

Movin' up... help with some upgrades!

I've worked on the room - maximized the space, building bass traps and panels, practiced my techniques and experimented. Most recent project came out pretty good; I'm looking to slowly upgrade equipment to gear I'm going to use and love for years. Currently running UA 2108, FMR RNP/RNC, Langevin DVC...

I'm in a similar situation - though not on the ground floor, but in the process of trying to move my setup from pretty good to friggin' great - and for me too it's a little overwhelming, there are SO MANY places you can upgrade! I'd suggest first off upping your interface - nothing too fancy, but so...

...regardless of what converter you use, though, the 002's ADAT in is limited to 44.1/48, correct? Is there an ADAT converter that'd allow me 16 inputs all at full 88.2 w/o upsampling?

A buddy of mine told me about one up 14th St, near to the MD line... I'll try and get the info from him. Other than that... I only know my living room.
