If you're running it that way, why not put it on i/o 5-6 or 7-8? That way you're not running through the preamp circuitry of 1-2 or 3-4?

I've recently begun tracking a "heart mic" when I have an open channel. Don't always use it, but it often helps glue the kit together and can also sound pretty freaking good all on its own. I've been using a 635a with a fair amount of leveling.

Have you at least tried to contact ART? I only ask because ruling out their repair facility without even contacting them and asking the question might just end up costing you in the end. There is always the chance that they issue you an RA and don't charge you for it? Also, you could specify that th...

C414 MidSide

Just did some tracking with a 414 as my side mic in a mid side matrix.
Massive stereo field. Amazing.

M-Audio Luna

I've got an M-audio luna in the box with the case and the shockmount.
I think I've maybe used it a total of 4 or 5 times.
If anyone is interested, pm me an offer, I really don't even know what to ask for and it's more of a "this thing" is taking up space situation.

thanks for all of the feedback.
I contacted Harry Fox and then the band discussed it and decided to nip it from the record.
Another interesting note is that they have to purchase licenses for all of the other songs on the recording even though they wrote them all (publishing deals) haha.

Fair Use & Cover Songs?

Couldn't decide upon the correct forum for this question. Just finished a live record for a band. During the show one of the guys plays a chunk of a cover song (very impromptu). If this was to be included on the release would it require licensing? If anyone can help out with this it'd be appreciated.

Depending on the current draw of your LED, when you step on the switch the instantaneous added draw to the LED can cause the pop.

that's kind of what I was thinking. They don't work for my voice, and that's in a controlled environment haha. I was thinking maybe a sprinkling of reverb or something to try and dazzle it up?

Thanks to all for their advice. In regard to taking care of these things during the recording phase; that was not an option for me. Also, it was not the best venue for such things. Sort of like a shoebox with not much stage depth or width. Anyway. Genteleman Jim: Accepting that what I have is what I...

PTLE + New Playlist

Hi all. Is there a shortcut to make all of the tracks go to a new (or defined) playlist? I need to make a selection in the timeline and then copy all of the tracks (I need the waveform and all the automation info) and past them into a different playlist. I'm hoping that there is a time saving trick ...
