If you are not 100% sure of what you are doing, call a pro. In PA, your fire insurance can be ruled void if your DIY wiring job causes your place to burn to the ground. Just FYI.

I had a problem with Blackberry interference coming in on my power line. I cured it by running a seperate 20A circuit from the breaker box to the rack, which is shielded in a metal raceway. Then it goes to a safety switch and through a SurgeX box, both bolted to a rack panel which forms a common, lo...

Re: i'm afraid i'm hooked
I've been using Pro Tools M-Powered since it came out and now I am very used to it. I feel like I am pretty fast at editing and getting around in the program. I am comfortable but I need more simultaneous ins. Right now I have the FW410 and am using the two built in pres. I would really like to do ...

Dead Ensoniq TS-10
My TS-10 is dead. Seems to be a power supply problem since the display does not light up except at the corners. Are parts available for these old beasts or should I donate it as a stage prop to the next NIN tour and get a new keyboard?

WTB: S/PDIF to Analog D2A converter
Looking for something on the cheap that will give a stereo analog pair from a S/PDIF coax feed. Something like 1/2 of a Flying Cow or something else really cheap....

nothing wrong with th technics sl-1200 range for audiophile use, as long as you set it up properly and use an audiophile cartridge. I've owned SL-1200's since 1986, and while I agree that they were the top dog in it's day as an audiophile table, the SL-1200 is a 35 year old design which has been be...

Re: WTB: Turntable
I'm looking for a nice to high quality turntable. {SNIP} I'm willing to pay a fair price. What is your idea of a "fair" price? Good tables are anything but cheap, so don't expect Grelsh quality at Coors price. The Chinette crap you'll find at Circuit City, Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc shoud be avoide...

RADAR for two and a half kilobuxx is a good deal, even on a unit of that age. I have the first generation iZ unit - the "RADAR 24" - and love it! Not only does the RADAR make for the easiest to use digital multitrack on the market, it makes a killer 2-track deck as well. AAMOF mine gets the most use...

There's a "Buy, Sell, Trade" forum for this kind of thing. You'll probably get more interest posting it there. Chris Garges Charlotte, NC OOPS! I'm sorry Chris! My mistake...
