The uploader's not showing for me on firefox or safari. It says there's still an uploader, but is there? IS THERE? IS THERE?

Have to wait until next time. I wouldn't want my drunklen playing being heard, and interfering with the drum sounds.
Ha!

It depends what's the base track of the song. If it's an acoustic guitar/vocal base track then I'll likely ride the drums to accommodate the changes in dynamics in the guitar, which I find happen more when tracking guitar and voice at the same time. If the drums are the base track, then I'll probabl...

All y'all might recall my search a cuppla years ago for a good-sounding EZ synth, and based on yer reco's I bought the Yama S-03 and love it. But I still need something can just sit on the shelf and be whipped out for a quickie, eh, keys fill - you know, just a pad behind a chorus, say. US$23, ship...

I used to use the warehouse space beneath my studio as an echo chamber for pretty much everything. Never had a latency problem, best verbs I ever had. I mean, try it and see if it sounds wrong to you and adjust for latency if necessary, but I don't think you'll have a problem.

I read it. The top half is really interesting and gives you that familiar feel of that time, a time that I loved. I was a massive fan of Gish and liked the first Phair album. The latter half though kind of heads into 'why are is this still on your mind after 20 years?' territory.

Worked well, as you might guess, especially for a return gig.
That's the way to do it.

A bit of empathy and friendliness goes a long way. If you're welcoming and helpful to bands they'll be more relaxed and things'll run smoother. Musicians can be super nervous and at their most uptight before they play, you get through that and afterwards they're relieved and grateful. Makes it all w...

I pretty much devour stuff about people making things, music especially, whether I like the outcome or not. I'll quite often have a music doc on while I'm in the bath or washing up. There's always at least one thing that triggers a thought or an idea. Books, less so these days, but maybe I'm just no...

I've been 4 tracking a lot lately. It's really taken me back and opened my eyes. I've got everything set up, permanently mic'd and patched in my little mix room in the basement. Drums are 2-3 mics submixed, piano is a pick-up an a shitty Apex clip on condenser taped to the foot panel of a tiny Came...

Yeah, exactly. A drone from your keyboard and a drum machine beat will tell you a lot about any inconsistencies when you playback. I'd try also bouncing tracks as I've had four tracks develop problems there. Also, honestly, take a look at the guy's place and other gear, does he look like he looks af...
