The real "Made in England" deal, not the newer Chinese stuff (you can see the embossing on the back of the speaker in the pics below). Sounds great, very little use. Thanks guys, definitely taking those things into precaution.

The speakers are all 16ohms and running the cab in "switchable stereo" puts each side's pairs of speaker in parallel, so running the requisite 8ohms as specified on the back of the cab. So no issue there.

I own a Marshall 1960 cab that I use exclusively for recording purposes. I'm mixing and matching the 4 speakers in the cab so that I can just close mic the speaker that has the tone I'm after for the particular sound/guitar/head I'm using. I run the cab in stereo but only use one side at a time, so ...
