a fuse and other slight problem was the case. now everything is fixed, thanks so much guys excited to learn some more from you once I get my hands dirty with the manual and using the unit thanks!

tried it with my keyboard. nothing. also mic input with a 57 was the first thing I tried, nothing. just so puzzled I am being told that it is fine, when it seems that it is absolutely not. The only thing I can imagine is that the one fuse that looks iffy may be blown, but I am not putting all my hop...

sorry to ask again, but I really am getting no power from the motor at all, when lifting up the belts. I was told by the owner the reels do not move without the tape, but the play/rewind/fastforward makes no motor noise with the tape in or out. nothing will spin. hopefully won't have to do some ebay...

Haven't checked the belt yet, the person I bought it from said it was fine...

Checked the fuses, just one may be out... if that would make a difference... and why the dbx wouldn't light up or the machine not spin.

should the reels move without any tape in it, thats what my dad seems to think, it isn't moving at all.

it seems that I did do it that way, and pushing load is doing nothing for me. Perhaps I should take a video.

little concerned also with not having any output from my mic and dbx not lighting up, maybe a quick video uploaded to youtube will be the best bet
