With Vista 32, yes. Not Vista 64, at least not last I checked.

The "Aero" interface may interfere with the playback audio. Disable the Aero interface and it's fine.

I've run 7.0-8.0 on 32bit Vista and have been quite happy with it, and happy to leave XP after all this time.
