That was kind of depressing to read through.

Maybe you should tell us what type of music/instruments you are recording Andrew. At least then people might have a general idea what sound you want. Otherwise, "It Depends."

I seriously doubt that Apple bought up Lala just to shut it down. Relax. Lala's features will be absorbed into iTunes. There's "cloud" storage of your media files coming. It's a pretty exciting development. I tend to agree with this. Hopefully streams start paying maybe 2 cents instead of 1.

It was probably a mistake for Massey to take this public. Now the validity of both sides is in question. Hopefully it gets resolved quickly.

We use XP. And the lag time is a permanent feature, it doesn't seem to vary much. I'm sure there's a reason for it, but I'm not terribly inclined to suss it out. My wife and kids don't seem to mind... because they don't use my Macs! Not enough ram? But since it isn't your computer why wor...

First: I really, really don't consider myself an Apple Fanboy. But I do confess to being a Mac OS Fanboy. I consider the premium paid for a Mac to be all about the OS. I'm writing this post on my 'family PC,' the one that my wife and kids use for internet surfing, Quickbooks, and a few CD ROM video...

They just added tags for location and genre. Now you can find others in your city, state and/or genres. :D Great news. This was my only big problem with Bandcamp. This service just keeps getting better and better. How do you use this search function? I don't think they have the search function yet....

I guess before you completely revamp the Bronco, I have a few questions about the J. Does the J-Bass bother her wrist because of the length between frets? Or is it how she is fingering (e.g. pressing too hard, flat fingers, etc.)? Finally, are the strings too high? Would some alterations to the sadd...

I think what you will find is you will need to use the RCA outs. Then again, I'm not really sure with the 4 tracks. It will be easier if each track has a 1/4". Taking tracks from tape isn't a problem, just hit play on the analog and record on the digital. Hopefully, on the analog each track has a se...
