From what ramblings I've heard from these people every time they are interviewed or you talk to, I'm surprised anyone can vaguely gather what they are protesting including them. Now with the rise of sexual assaults, rapes, and other criminal activity that is going on in these camps, I think any "cau...

Glad to see this thread is still alive.

Asking $350 for both and I'll cover shipping to the lower 48 states. Otherwise, $175 each and buyer pays actual shipping.

Thanks!

Have people had shedding with ATR's 1/4" and 2" tape? I have had none so far on 1/4" reels. Haven't tried the 2" as of yet.

While not really new, I upgraded my Ibanez Soundgear bass. I pulled out the unusually large pickup and made up a completely new designed pickup. I decided on making a single coil rather than a humbucker like what was there. I kept it active, but may change it to passive at some point. Playing it thr...

I have nothing against schools. However, I think for audio engineering the internship, with perhaps some textbook work included, is more beneficial to the student in attaining a well rounded education. I know personally working along side someone with 20+ years of real experience in engineering and ...

I really don't have a bias towards or against Fruity Loops. I haven't much use for it so I don't use it. But what do I know, I still use tape!

He's a bright kid. I think he'll be in for a bit of a reality check but don't we all at some point!

In the past sure kids were probably more "cultivated" for interests by parents or whomever. These days kids have access to pretty much whatever they choose to learn about. I think the WHY is just as easy to understand. My friend is a mechanic and a damn good one! She is one of the few female mechani...

The Future Engineer - Observations

I was recently talking with an acquaintance who is going to a university to study recording and something else. I had, in the past, suggested they consider getting involved as an intern at a studio and study their other major at school. I would have helped them attain the internship too. But that ad...

I think it is pretty simple. Not as many women are as interested in audio engineering as guys. Am I implying something sexist here? Nope. Are there great women engineers? Yep.

Sure there may be other factors involved, but I think the heart of the reason is just that simple.
