Amek M2500 Schems?

Hey does anyone happen to have the schematics for an Amek M2500? I really need the block diagram for the aux send/return modules. The problem is I'm redoing the patch bay and originally the desk had inserts on the aux sends that we want to bypass, but of course the original bays have been reworked b...

pound the hell out of the drums. seriously. record a few bars at a time and then retune them. rod morgenstein from winger told me once that they recorded the drums, especially the tom fills, one measure at a time and that he had to hit the drums as hard as he possibly could. oh yeah. *she's only sev...

I fell in love with omni on acoustic guitar yesterday actually. For some reason it just sounds like a jangley led zepplin guitar.....
it probably didn't hurt that it was a U-47

kick drumsounds that are awesome

So kick sounds have kinda really been on my mind recently. I've been growing really tired of the whole *click'n'boom* action that's been going on. Being a drummer I've been playing a lot with different head and muffling combos to try to see what I can do to make my kick go *THUDD!* and then stop. ju...

I've been interning with the technician at Primal Gear and have about 2 years as a staff engineer and tech at a studio in Boston. Primal Gear has been awesome and h...

i'm a drummer so i typically go drummers perspective just because it totally freaks me out to hear the toms be backwards. but lately i've been playing for a fake fake country band where i only use a kick, snare, and a whiskey bottle for a ride and for the recordings it's been completely mono drums. ...
