im chiming in with a DW collectors series 5.5x14. it's really even keeled. i can tune it really low and it's a monster (some moon gel helps to get on that scene) or really high and it never seems to get choked. I also have a Taye Studio Maple 7x14 with diecast hoops which is really throaty. They are...

Teac 3340S needs love

I just got a Teac 3340 S from someone for free. Solid good times. anyway, there are many issues with it but im just going to start with my first. the pre's on her hate anything approaching loud. i did some drums with it and it was very distorted. the needles were at about -2 and it was still a bad s...

in the case of the folcrom, where the summed mix is dependent on the pre's you use, what is the benefit of having 16 passive channels? is it just the added analog goodness? it seems like it would be the same as sending the mix out and then back in through your pres.

you may dig this. it allows you to compare the tone of different OD pedals.

if you havent bought the rack yet i would consider Purple's rack. it's a 10 space rack and slot 9 is set up to fit their Moyin mixer which is an 8x2 summing box.

also i havent tried it yet but check out anamod's 660.
