I'd disagree on using the foam mute in this case... the bass on the Kravitz tune has a bit brighter sound than you'd get. More like tired old roundwounds and a player who damps real good.

I really like broken gear. I get to dig in, figure out the problem, fix it, and spend a few minutes playing with it before giving it back. Then I usually get money in return... can't forget that part of the process.
